Don’t Be That Someone has recently gained the support of The Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS).

Naomi Baster, Policy and Research Officer, says,

“The ‘Don’t be that someone’ campaign has identified a gap in young and pre-driver training. The importance of targeting this age group was highlighted in the EU project DRUID (Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Alcohol, and Medicines) where it was discovered that permissive attitudes towards drug-driving and drink-driving were more typical for prospective drivers than for actual drivers.”
